Resident presents SYNAPZ

Sunday, August 23 closes the week the way it should be closed. SYNAPZ plays the Resident set at Hubble Bubble North Miami Beach from 8 PM — melodic house, deep house and afro house, three genres that reward a room willing to sit with them rather than demand something from them.

Melodic house is the anchor. It's music with a memory: recurring motifs, chords that resolve where you hoped they would, and arrangements that give a phrase room to finish. Deep house keeps the floor underneath it warm and steady. Afro house adds the percussion that stops a Sunday set from turning sleepy — hand drums, layered rhythm, and vocal lines that lift the room without ever raising the volume. Together they make a set you can talk through or dance to, depending entirely on how your weekend went.

An 8 PM Sunday start is deliberate. It leaves the night long enough to be worth leaving the house for and short enough that Monday remains survivable.
